The Big Engineering Makerspace kit contains hundreds of pieces to create more than 20 models for experiments. The 128-page manual provides step-by-step illustrated instructions to guide students through 5 categories of model building and associated experiments. They'll explore different areas of physics and engineering design by building these functional models and conducting experiments. The 5 categories are:

1. Water: jet boat, submarine, catamaran, and sail car
2. Land: dragster, trike, automobile brake, automobile suspension, and tower crane
3. Air: helicopter, glider, windmill, and falling leaf
4. Engineering in Society: forklift, spinning top, hydraulic arm, scissor lift, and distance measuring tool
5. Optical Devices: camera stabilizer, tripod, selfie stick, and smartphone microscope

Once they have the basics down, all the pieces can reused to create anything they can think of!
