Description

Powered by two 18V Lithium-Ion batteries, the brushless motor is engineered for up to 50% longer run time, increased power and speed, and longer tool life. It delivers up to 4,400 RPM for fast and efficient cutting, with Automatic Speed Change™ technology to adjust cutting speed and torque under load for the best performance. A unique 2-steel rail sliding system design offers single slide-glide operation plus on-off switch, micro-adjustments, and linear ball bearing system offer smooth and accurate cutting. A reduced footprint allows the saw to be flush against a wall.

The innovative direct-drive gearbox and guard system is engineered for increased vertical and crown molding cutting capacity. With soft start, it enables smoother start-ups and consistent, constant power with no belts to slip or replace.

The 4-3/4" tall fence provides increased rigidity and more precise cuts. Delivers up to 334 cuts per charge in 2x4 SPF and up to 192 cuts per charge in 2x12 SPF lumber. Makes 6-5/8" crown molding, 5-1/4" baseboard, and 12" crosscuts at 90°. The saw miters 0° to 60° left and right. The bevel lock is located in the front of the saw for easy access and quick adjustments from 0° to 48°. A simple 90° turn-of-the-knob mechanism to lock/unlock the miter angle.

Additional features include an electric brake and one-touch slide lock for added convenience, high-quality 60T carbide-tipped blade, see-through blade guard system and built-in laser indicates line-of-cut, and improved dust collection capability for use with a bag or vacuum. It also has a large-sized aluminum base that improves the stability of cutting stock and the high power makes for more efficient cutting in wood and aluminum extrusion. Ergonomic rubberized horizontal D-handle design has soft grip handle for better fit and increased comfort. Metal extension wings add durability and 3-stage LED gauges indicate battery charge levels.
