Description

Equipped with the robust Asteroid Tool Head and a hefty 1.2mm nozzle, this machine creates long, rugged prototypes and print-on-demand parts without the usual build volume constraints, eliminating the need to split your projects into multiple parts.

• The Asteroid 285 Tool Head features dual heater cartridges, delivering high-volumetric material flow through a 1.2mm GammaMaster™ nozzle.
• Robust Y-axis rails feature drylin® W coating, a self-lubricating and maintenance-free material. A clean environment and less friction means quieter operation lower potential for artifacts in prints.
• The machined aluminum magnetic bed comes with a Laminated PEI blue spring steel top sheet, which is a durable and flexible alternative to glass beds. Equipped with neodymium magnets, it securely holds the print sheet while allowing for easy removal.
• With a build volume of 282 x 582 x 285mm, this machine has over double the build volume of a standard TAZ Pro.
