This workbench with shelves is a great centerpiece for any robotics program. The perimeter of the top is 3/4" thick solid hard maple which extends 1-1/2" above the Fiberesin surface. The result is a sturdy work surface that keeps small parts from falling onto the ground and provides a functional perimeter for robot trials. The base provides storage while the top acts as both an assembly area and proving ground.
