It actually polishes the material which results in a superior finish. Since these blades are on the larger side, they're ideal for use in miter boxes. Made from Premium TiCo™ hi-density carbide crosscutting blend, you'll remove less material than with standard carbide blades, and you'll need less horsepower to see the same results. The Perma-Shield™ Non-Stick Coating reduces blade drag and protects the blade from corrosion and pitch build-up.
