Alpha III is our most popular beginning level rocket. It’s the E2X - Easy-to-Assemble version of the classic Estes Alpha rocket. No painting and no modeling experience required for this one. This jet black rocket has a bright orange plastic nose cone and 1-piece plastic fin unit that make for easy, quick assembly. Finishing the Alpha III is a breeze with the self-stick decals.

You’ll need the Electron Beam Launch Controller and the Porta-Pad II Launch Pad to launch this favorite. Alpha III uses standard Estes engines (A, B, or C engines) for propellant and is recovered with a 12" parachute. If you want outstanding performance flight after flight, the Alpha III is it!
