The purpose of this project is two fold:
First, it is to familiarize the student/user with many of the electronic components and standard conventions he or she will encounter in subsequent laboratory projects and later in the field during the course of their careers.

Secondly, the student is guided through a course of step-by-step soldering practices designed to foster and ensure proper skills.

The kit has several special features: 12 or 24 hour mode, slow, fast and hold buttons for easy setting, seconds display, and color LEDs to separate hours and minutes.
