Description

Keeping a busy classroom moving is hard to do with without high-efficiency tools. This Dake Belt Grinder was designed to help students work quickly and safely so projects don't fall behind. The 4 HP motor helps produce 6,000 fpm grinding speed. The head pivots up and down on the base for easy and ergonomic work height adjustments for any project. A hinged top cover opens to provide access to the grinder for large pieces of metal using the entire length of the belt. Advanced belt tracking capabilities with a vented front wheel that's fixed in place provides rigidity when grinding on the wheel radius. The parts rest is adjustable and the backing plate has a Plexiglass shield to ensure the part being ground remains steady and in place.
