Description

This 40-piece set has a wide range of taps, plug taps, dies, wrenches and accessories. The plug taps are best at cutting right-hand internal threads. These are the most commonly used tap with 3-5 threads chamfered, making them suitable for any general-purpose application. The dies are meant for cutting right-hand external threads when threading rods, bolts and studs. These rolled threads are more accurate and clean than machined threads. All pieces are made from heat-treated carbon steel so they're rust- and tarnish-resistant. Easily identify size markings that are laser-etched so they won't wear off.
